One of the most addictive games available in Facebook. How to play it? Easy, and very simple. The goal of this game is to catch as many ghosts as you can that are haunting many location in Scotland, using your own trap that consists of a Mechanism and Magic Circle, and Whisky as the bait because ghosts like to drink!

This is a passive game, where you don’t have to always plays it. It automatically hunt by itself once you already set up your own trap, and it will start catching ghosts every one hour. There are many kind of ghosts, and you have to combine multiple kind of trap to catch those ghosts, some are easy to catch and some are very hard. This is the part where the game start to become challenging, and also interesting at the same time. Beware this game can be very addictive to gamers, such as myself.

Using a song to express a feeling? Cliche, yeah I know but don’t care if it is. Here goes, pay attention to the lyrics people, it gets deeper every time you listen to it.

It’s over, yap that’s it.. Gw akhirnya mengambil keputusan yg paling berat di hidup gw sejauh ini, jauh lebih berat di bandingin dlu waktu disuruh milih mau ngambil jurusan apa buat kuliah.. Emang berat bgt, dan gw jg ga tau sampe sekarang apakah keputusan itu emang yg tepat atau ngga, tp untuk sekarang itu emang for the best..

Tapi klo terus2an melihat ke belakang lewat spion DUUAARR bisa tabrakan deh jdnya karena lupa ngeliat apa yg sebenernya ada di depan kita..

Since February until the end of August this year I got the opportunity to do my internship program in Germany. I work in a university called Fachhochschule Erfurt, University of Applied Sciences, which is located in Erfurt. Erfurt itself is the capital city of the Thuringen region, thus making the city always busy of many people doing their own daily routines. When I first came to this city, I was excited and confused at the same time, looking at so many new things around me. Like the strassebahn (tram) which is a very common thing as public transportation in many countries. But for me, I have to learn about the system first before I can use it properly. I have to learn how to read the schedules, the routes, understand the ticket system, what type should I buy and the duration of the ticket, the etiquettes such as I have to give my seat to older people when it is too crowded. Those are the things which are very common, as I say before but it is something that I am sure everybody faced it the first time.

As my work, I was very happy to be given the chance to work there. I was given a couple of tasks which I have never ever learned before in the university, or even heard of. First I was scared, scared that I will not be able to finish and make them disappointed in me. Luckily my coworkers were geniuses’ yet humble person, and they were happy to help me whenever I got stuck with a problem. Beside the knowledge that I was able to absorb during those short times, I also happen to witness the professional work etiquettes of the German people. How dedicated they are to their work, how tight they are with their schedules, how they value the time they have. All of it made me think that I should have done better in the past seeing how much effort they put to their responsibilities. Thankfully I was able to finished the tasks that was given to me, and learn many new things that I think I will not be able to learn it if I was not given the job there.

I also have an unforgettable social life during those wonderful seven months. I live in student dorm, sharing rooms with other foreign students. I am thinking how lucky I am, even though I live with a Russian, a Japanese, a Kazakhstan and a Mexican we were able to communicate and spend times together despite our very different cultures and backgrounds. Sometimes the German language we spoke is not a hundred percent right, but at least we were able to understand each other. I also met with my fellow Indonesian students, who were studying there. It was such a relief to met people from your own home country, that way you can share stories and exchange unique experiences. Living alone far from parents, it pushes me to be able to take care of my own things and being responsible to my own self, and solving my own problems. It is not always easy living abroad, but I managed to survive those seven months with all the wonderful experiences. I guess I make the right choice when I decide to take the internship program abroad, thank God.

Just a random thoughts..

What if god created human with 2 mouths and only 1 ears?
What if god created human with 4 legs and 4 arms?
What if there are other planets with living being beside our planet?
What if there is only one religion in this world?
What if we found out that all the things we’re believing is not real after all?
What if suddenly there’s no gravity?
What if the end of the world is tomorrow?
What if there are no cigarettes?
What if I stop this now?

Changes:

• fixed UI freezes when downloading
• Able to cancel the downloading process
• Skip download process if the same photo already exists
• Download more than 500 pictures in a single request
• Remove search option based on the dates
• Remove preview of the pictures, because multi threading is not allowed when there is a process running in the background

A couple of changes were made, especially to the UI. In the previous version, when the user click the download button the UI freezes, making user unable to make further control to the program. In this version, I fix it and make the downloading process runs in the background, that way further action can be made for example if user want to cancel it.

This is one of my project while doing an internship under Fachhochschule Erfurt. The goal is to make a mass photo downloader software from Flickr website. I’m using FlickrNet API Library written in C#, and the program is also written in visual C#.

Current Features
1. Download pictures based on the Tags.
2. User can define the posted date of the photos.
3. Get the biggest available size of the photo, but not the original one because it needs authorization from the owner of each photo.

Next to come
1. Able to cancel the downloading process, when it already start.
2. Able to resume the downloading process, when an error occur.
3. Make a list of what photos are already download and what have not.
4. Make a status of when the download start, and when it has finish.

Note
Currently the program is able to download many pictures at one request, but sometime in the middle of the downloading process it stop because of an error, which is Request Time Out. I suppose this is because of the network problem, not the program. This is a very simple program, many things are not yet complete yet.

Sometimes I just wondered, what have I done all this time?
I heard a lot of stories, about all the great things that people have done in life.
Stories that amazed me, makes me speechless.
How a single person can make all the changes in the world.
How a single person can have so much impact on others around.

Then I look into my self, what have I done?

Well you can laugh, the answer is quite simple anyway. Nothing.
Nothing that I can be proud of, nothing that I can share with others and amazed them.
Makes me uncomfortable sometime, how others can look up on me in a way that I don’t understand.
Nothing, yeah who am I anyway? 20 years on this world, and nothing.

It’s a silly thought right? Probably, yeah.
But I do hope that at least I can follow the step of someone that I admire so much.
Someone that cares for me more than anything, more that herself.
Someone that teaches me everything, even things that shouldn’t be teach of.
Someone who trust me, and believes that I’m capable of doing anything.
Someone who forgives me, when all I can do is make a chaos out of anything.

I just hope that I can make you proud, mom.
